Child Care Articles

Have a child care article you want to sell?  Need help navigating the federal safety requirements to get your product to market?  Here at AM Testing we can do the testing for you and help you be compliant. As a CPSC certified 3rd party testing laboratory, we test all childcare articles according to CPSIA regulations to ensure your product are in compliance with all safety requirements.

Childcare articles are considered products intended for children 3 years of age or younger that help with feeding, teething, sleeping or sucking. Products considered childcare articles may include: teething rings, pacifiers, blankets, bottles, and bedding.

Regulatory requirements for childcare articles vary greatly between each product. There is no simple guide to know what specific testing your product may need. At AM Testing, out lab experts have the expertise to evaluate your product and give a quote as to which testing requirements will need to be fulfilled for the product to be safe and compliant.

The CPSC requires these products to be tested to meet safety requirements for mechanical hazards, chemical properties and flammability. Additional FDA testing may be recommended as well. Your product must always comply and have a certificate that shows conformity. So, do not get caught without one!  Call AM Testing today and have your product tested by us.
